Slootmaker Group, located at the Navy Yard in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is a marine equipment distributorship and technical services organization that represents equipment suppliers in the North American market, including all aspects of aftermarket support.
Slootmaker Group is comprised of two companies, Slootmaker Marine Equipment, Inc. (SME), and Slootmaker Technical Services, Inc. (STS), ultimately under the management of Peter J. Slootmaker.
SME is the marine equipment distributorship firm founded in 2010, with a focus on providing customers with integrated systems solutions through products from a select group of manufacturers.
STS has its origins as a marine equipment distributorship and service firm, which began in 2003 and represented HRP Thruster Systems B.V. (now part of ZF Marine Group), Bloksma B.V. (now part of GEA Group AG) as well as other companies on a project or contract basis. STS continues activities as the technical center, spare parts and service support component of the Slootmaker Group companies.
